Terms of Service

Effective date: March 30, 2026

1. Service Overview

V3Cards is a study platform that lets users create flashcard sets manually, generate flashcards with AI, share sets, publish public profiles and public sets, comment on public sets, and use study features such as quiz, slideshow, PDF export, and related learning tools.

2. Account Registration

To use account-based features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. Account access is managed through Supabase authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content

You retain responsibility for the notes, flashcards, descriptions, comments, profile content, and other material you submit to the service. You must have the rights necessary to upload and share that content. You must not use the service to upload unlawful material, infringing material, malicious code, or content intended to abuse, harass, or harm others.

When you make a profile or set public, or use a share link, that content may be viewed by other users or by anyone with the relevant link, depending on the sharing setting you selected.

4. AI Features

V3Cards uses OpenAI-powered features for flashcard generation, answer grading, and explanations. Content you submit to those features, such as notes, questions, answers, and related prompts, is sent to the AI provider to produce a response. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You remain responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content.

You should not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, payment card data, or regulated confidential data to AI features.

5. Paid Plans and Billing

V3Cards offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Billing and subscription checkout are handled by Stripe. Pricing, renewal terms, and taxes, if any, are presented during checkout. Subscription status in the app may be updated based on Stripe checkout and webhook events.

V3Cards does not directly store full payment card numbers in the application database. Payment processing is performed by Stripe.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to violate law or third-party rights,
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data,
  • abuse comments, profile features, or sharing features,
  • interfere with the service, scrape it at abusive volume, or bypass product limits,
  • use the service to distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent content.

7. Moderation and Suspension

The operator of V3Cards may remove content, disable public content, suspend accounts, deactivate accounts, or limit access to protect the service, comply with law, or respond to misuse, abuse, security issues, or operational risk.

8. Availability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent retention of all content.

9. Disclaimer

V3Cards is a study tool and not a source of professional, legal, medical, financial, or academic accreditation advice. Study results and AI output are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of V3Cards is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.

Please also review the Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled in the service.
